It's been a crazy year!

I've been working like a mad woman to get these two books out to you. I'm so excited for you to read them.

I'm so nervous (and hopeful) about the launch party. I hope you can all come. First 40 guests get awesome goodie bags.

Adrenaline Rush is a break-off novel from the Watched Trilogy and the stakes are even higher for Christy.
Gravediggers is something totally new! It's a mystery from a boy's point of view. Start reading and following the clues, then let me know when you knew, really knew, who did it.
(read the section after this for book descriptions)

It's been a year of changes, some hard, some great.

My oldest daughter graduated high school and is now at college. I'm trying to get used to not having her smiley, silly self around. And she's heading off to Texas to serve the people there for eighteen months-and while it's a great opportunity for her, she will be missed. She leaves a week before my birthday-now that will be a crazy time. I'm so excited for her.

My only other daughter is in high school and busy doesn't even come close to describing her schedule. She is on the drill team and loving it. She's an amazing dancer.

Our dog has become a behemoth monster. While he has his adorable moments, I wonder if we will survive him.

My hubby just got promoted! I'm so proud of him and thrilled to see him conquer this newest challenge.

We survived the huge windstorm and have rebuilt the pool house and the fence. The roof has been repaired and new grass has been planted. The trees that were damaged beyond saving, all but one, have been removed from their spots and are now in our woodpile and at the dump.

We traveled to Brooklyn, New York and Paris France to get a bunch of research done for projects I'm working on. Being a writer is such a hard life. :)

What's next?
I'm neck deep with the last episode of Confessions of a 16-Year-Old Virgin Lips and will be getting the print book going in December.
I'm knee deep in another Christy Novel-Hotwire.
I'm just about to start another Christy Novel set in Paris, France.
And, I have a couple other ideas swirling around in my head that are begging to get into my computer.

Here's to super awesome year. Who knows, maybe my awesome agent will make me a hybrid author this year. Wouldn't that be magnificent?

While I don't know exactly what the future holds, I do know I'll have 2 books for you next Oct....which ones will they be? Do you want more of Christy or more stand-alone books like Gravediggers?

VL. Virgin Lips. You may not have heard of it, but where I live, it's a thing with a card, even if it is a figurative card. I was Brooklyn Hamlin, certified virgin lips, and I planned on clinging to that figurative card with all I had--while dating as many of the hottest guys at school as I could.
Maybe that's a bit strange. I mean, what teenage girl isn't interested in kissing? Locking lips definitely interested me, but the drama that came with it didn't. No kissing, no drama. Simple.
But on my sixteenth birthday, on my first real date even, the drama found me. His name was Luke Graham--cute, funny, and bad news for the whole female race.

Sale! .99 cents

With my VL card gone, my flickering light of hope lay with Ryker, someone else who'd caught my eye. Only he could erase the memory of Luke, the boy who lip-raped me. Unfortunately, Luke was determined to keep me, or at the very least, ruin me.

Brooklyn has become a social outcast at school thanks to Luke, who spent his entire weekend playing the victim and spreading rumors. And there’s nothing worse than Luke’s brand of justice. With no other way to escape her torn up, lonely life, she accepts an invitation to her cousin’s birthday party. Attending a party thrown by someone she doesn’t get along with is better than sitting home alone. The highlight of the party is meeting Riley, a boy who’s sweeter than the plate of sugar cookies he arrives with. After everything Brooklyn has been through, it seems that karma is finally on her side, but she soon learns that nothing is ever simple in the dating world.
